About the speaker
Sietske de Groot studied French Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam and Politics at the Free University of Amsterdam. She is the founder of TradePeers Ltd and former Head of EU Affairs of the UK Federation of Small Businesses. She has almost two decades of experience with EU legislation and represented several British organisations in Brussels. A seasoned EU expert, she is well-placed to anticipate what can be expected in the UK-EU negotiations and from the UK’s new relationship with the EU.
Reception
After the lecture, there will be an informal networking reception until 10 pm. This event will be hosted by UvA Alumni Relations and Amsterdam University Fund, and Lennard van Otterloo, Chair of UvA Alumni Chapter London.
